The Laya Gasa Trek

Laya Gasa Trek is one of the challenging popular trekking adventures at northern Bhutan sharing the border with Tibet. Laya Gasa Trek initiates from Paro and in the course of our journey, we cross four high passes to finally reach at Laya. And from Laya, downhill trekking continues through natural hot-springs at Ghasa followed by drive to Punakha valley and Thimpu. From witnessing the natural highlights, alpine adventures of beautiful country Bhutan to cultural insights of local inhabitants, this trekking gives us opportunity to explore all.

Laya Gasa Trek is also a way to spectacle excellent views of snow capped mountains including Chomolhari and Jichu Drake. And there will always be plenty of visits to monasteries, dzongs and fotress which reflect the local Buddhism culture and traditions. We do properly acclimatize before attempting high passes to ensure your safety and avoid AMS. Join Laya Gasa Trek with Buddha Eye Trek for professional travel arrangements.
